Start with your walkies

When you sign up you'll be given a recommended daily goal for activity based on your dog's breed, age and needs.

Every good day starts with a walk. Shoes on, lead on and before you head out, tap “Start” in the Biscuit app.

You’ll see a live map tracking your route as you go, so you can keep an eye on how far you’ve walked, for how long and if you've hit your daily goal.

It’s a simple way to make sure they’re getting the exercise they need, whether that’s one longer walk or a couple of shorter ones throughout the day. You'd probably be surprised to find that your regular 'long' walk doesn't quite take an hour, and it's always worth going for that short evening stroll around the block as well.

If you need to stop during your walk you can hit pause. When you’re ready to go again, press play and carry on.

When you’re back home, tap “Finish” and save your walk. That’s what logs it properly and earns your Biscuits.

Give your dog a clearer picture with PitPat

If you want to go a step further, PitPat gives you that extra layer of insight.

You can claim your free PitPat Activity Monitor (worth £49) in the Biscuit app, or link one you already have. Once it’s set up and you've added your dogs profile in the PitPat app, just tap “Fetch data” there to sync everything across to Biscuit.

You’ll earn an extra 5 Biscuits when you fetch your data after hitting your daily goal — but more importantly, you’ll get a clearer view of your dog’s activity, play and rest time.

Walks are just one part of the picture, head to the Progress section and complete your Wellbeing Badges. With Badges, Biscuit helps you keep track of the routine care that’s easy to forget, but makes a big difference over time.

Complete the Microchip Badge first off - this just proves to us that you have a dog with a legal microchip registered - and then you can access rewards. Next, make sure you've done the Insurance Badge! You'll get handy reminders when your dog's insurance is coming up for renewal and bonus Biscuits for completing it each year.
